Do I have a right to a DC DUI lawyer while taking a field sobriety test?

You may ask the officer to consult with an attorney before submitting to any tests, but you are not entitled to have one present at the time.  Unlike with refusing to take a breathalyzer test, there should be no legal penalty for refusing to take a field sobriety test if you elect not to.  Field sobriety tests are voluntary, but an officer will probably not inform you of this.
